The fill diameter is 26mm. These casings are stronger than fresh casings but have a thinner wall. Having a lighter wall weight gives the sausage a more tender bite. This casing is used to make hot dogs, bratwursts, smoked baby links sausage. One 50 ft long casing will stuff 17lbs of meat.
These casings are made from processed collagen.
